Through over 50 years, the Yunnan Provincial Museum has possessed
bronzes, ancient money, chinaware, ancient paintings and
calligraphies, rubbings from stone inscriptions and stamps
amounting to 190, 000 pieces, making it the museum with most
cultural relics in Yunnan. They are collected through the ways of
archaeological excavation, survey, purchasing and donation. What's
most characteristic there is bronze of Dian Culture , Buddhist
relics of the periods of Nanzhao and Dali Kingdom as well as
various exquisite ethnic relics of modern times.
Feature: It is a provincial comprehensive museum, showing the society,
history and culture of Yunnan systematically.
