On 7 August 2008, Minister SHENG Guangzu paid an inspection visit to the Customs Command Center for Olympic Security. Minister SHENG spoke to the National Command Center for Olympic Security through Video Call. During his stay, he inspected through the monitoring system the work of Customs administrations located in Beijing, Tianjin, Shijiazhuang, Shenyang and Shanghai where the Olympic Games are held, and the ports of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Gongbei, Urumqi and Lhasa. He also raised requirements for the heads on duty of the Information Center, the E-Port Data Center and the Information Sub-center in Guangdong which are affiliated to the General Administration of Customs of China.
