Foreign Aviation Models Arrived in Zhuhai for 2008 China Air Show (with photo)

The 7th China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition (known as the China Air Show) was held on 4 November, 2008 in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province. On 23 October, a batch of state-of-the-art aviation models from the America, Russia and Canada arrived at the exhibition hall.
This batch of exhibits, which is worth US$1.2 million and weighs 35.5 tons, includes models of radar system, air-to-air missile, Boeing 777-300er and etc.
Gongbei Customs District opened dedicated counters and channels to help the Air Show-related materials get through Customs procedures speedily. A group of 16 Customs officers who are good at foreign languages and clearance work were picked up to check out every node of the clearance procedure. They provided 24-hour services to ensure all the exhibits and related personnel complete the clearance procedures timely.
