PetroChina Daqing Refining & Chemical plans to process 500,000mt of crude in November, with daily throughput flat at 17,000mt compared to the previous month, according to a refinery source.
Crude transmitted by the Sino-Russia Crude Pipeline is estimated to reach Linyuan terminal in Daqing around Nov 20, which might be then distributed to some refineries affiliated to PetroChina, like Dalian Petrochemical, Liaoyang Petrochemical, Jinxi Petrochemical and Jilin Petrochemical, etc., through PetroChina's own pipelines, the source revealed.
Daqing Refining & Chemical, located in Northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, currently owns three crude distillate units, capacities of which totaled 8-mil mt per year. The refinery has a 6-mil-mt/yr secondary processing capacity. It produces 15,000mt of naphtha every month, mainly supplied to nearby Daqing Petrochemical and Jilin Petrochemical.
