Officials from Ministry of Commerce visited CGGC

Chen Jian, the minister assistant of the Ministry of Commerce, accompanied by officials from Hubei provincial Department of Commerce visited CGGC in the morning of March, 27, 2007. The leaders of CGGC, Yang Jixue, Yu Changsheng, Xiang Yongzhong, Nie Kai, Li Shaoqiu, warmly welcomed visitors.
They came to the headquarters of CGGC accompanied by Niekai, the vice president of CGGC. After their arrival, the president of CGGC, Yang Jixue showed them the culture gallery on the first floor of the office building and gave a general introduction of CGGC, its development history, major projects undertaken, and the equipment, talents as well as business culture development.
A cordial conversation was then held. Chen Jian highly praised CGGC's achievements; he admired CGGC for its strong capability, open-minded and united management group, he did believe that CGGC will have a greater development in the future. He fully agreed with the CGGC's strategy that actively developing the international market; advised that CGGC should enhance confidence, make solid progress on Introduced into Enterprise and Going Aboard strategy to introduce technology and talents into enterprise, seize the top position in dam construction technology of the world, learn from international advanced experiences and strengthen the overseas project management. Through the construction of overseas projects, to transfer from a contracting oriented enterprise to an investment oriented enterprise, seek for a greater development under country's opening policy.
After the conversation, the guests visited Three Gorges Project accompanied by Nie Kai, and warmly received by Xing De Yong, the president assistant of CGGC at the dam site.
