The first batch of eight 3,600 kW diesel-electric locomotives were delivered on June 3, 2003 from Dalian port to Karachi, Pakistan. Then the second batch of seven 2,500 kW diesel-electric locomotives were delivered on July 15. The total 15 integrated locomotives have been completely delivered.
Afterward we would carry on technical transfer contract and deliver 54 left locomotives to Pakistan in the pattern of CKD or SKD, which will be built locally. This contract was awarded on November 8, 2002 including forty-four 2,420 kW diesel locomotives and twenty-five 1,620 kW diesel locomotives.
