On February 7, the Foton enterprise delegation composed of three persons including the deputy general manager of Foton Motor Group and general managerof Overseas Business Division, Dong Haiyang, along with Vice President Xi Jinping visit Mexico. The six days visit of the Foton enterprise delegation centers on the affairs of setting up KD factories in Mexico, and the visit is mainly focused on the government departments like Mexico Economy Ministry, Trade and Investment Bureau, State of Guanajuto,etc.
On the morning of February 9, AT and the Foton enterprise delegation have a meeting with the minister of Mexico Economy Ministry, Mr. Adalberto Gonzalez Hernandez, in the Mexico Economy Ministry office. In the meeting, the application for KD factories and the procedures of obtaining zero tariff permission are confirmed. In the afternoon, the meeting with the chief of Mexico Trade and Investment Bureau, Mr.Bruno Ferrari, is held in the Mexico Trade and Investment Bureau office. In the meeting, the discussion of the time process schedule get proceeded, after the meeting, gifts are mutually presented.
On February 10, the Chinese and Mexican entrepreneur meeting is held in Mexico City. In the meeting, AT and the Foton enterprise delegation have a meeting respectively with the chief of Economic Development Bureau of Guanajuto State Government, Mr.Villanueva, the chief of Economic Promotion Bureau of Jalisco State , Mr. Alejandra and the chief of Economic Bureau of Mexico State , Mr. Juan Manuel Morento about selecting sites for the factories. In addition, the meeting about the localization of KD project components and the Mexico component resources is proceeded with Ms. Sophie Pons Mendez, the manager of Mexico Component Association.
On the morning of February 11, AT and the Foton enterprise delegation pay a visit to Governor Mr. Juan Sabines Guerrero in his mansion in Pas State. General Manager Dong Haiyang introduce the situation and products of Foton vehicles. In the afternoon, General Manager Dong Haiyang participates in the Foton Pas State secondary store opening ceremony, on the ceremony, General Manager Dong Haiyang delivers important speeches and accepts the interview of reporters.
