BEIJING - Despite floods and drought, China's grain production this year is expected to rise to 546.4 billion kilograms, up 15.6 billion kilograms from last year, said Minister of Agriculture Han Changbin on Wednesday.

The country's grain production will increase for the seventh consecutive year, said Han on an annual central rural work conference, which concluded Wednesday.
