CBEX initiates international investment promotion program

China Beijing Equity Exchange (CBEX) officially initiated an international investment promotion program last week, through which a total of 13 financing projects from South Africa, Russia, Australia and Japan have been introduced, attracting more than 300 organizations and enterprises.
These projects cover mineral, grain, new-energy, consumption, energy conservation, high-tech and other areas and include three mineral resources projects of platinum, copper and gold from South Africa with high financing sums. According to initial statistics, the combined financing amount of the 13 projects is above 1 billion U.S. dollars.
The largest financing project of the program is from a South Africa-based platinum firm that plans to raise funds of 600 million U.S. dollars, 70 percent of the total. The platinum project concerning the platinum group (including platinum, palladium, rhodium and gold) metal mines in South Africa s Bushveld Complex has more than 80 percent of global platinum resources and contributes more than 70 percent of the global platinum output.
The asset transfer project for 13 grain storehouses owned by OGO Group, one of Russia's largest agricultural holdings firms, has attracted many domestic and foreign investors. The granary network has a grain storage capacity totaling 930,000 tons and an appraisal value of 110 million U.S. dollars.
Since 2008, CBEX successively established the China Japan Equity Exchange, China Milan Equity Exchange, Asia America Equity Exchange, China Africa Equity Exchange, Russia China Universal Trading Platform and other overseas alliance institutions. It has also entered into partnerships with many overseas professional institutes. More than 500 overseas financing projects have been listed on the CBEX website by far.
