China's nonferrous metal output up 23.9% in first 10 months

China's output of ten nonferrous metals, including aluminum and copper, rose 23.9 percent year on year to 26.14 million tonnes in the first ten months, according to latest official statistics.
Compared with the same period of last year, the output of refined copper rose 11.8 percent to 3.78 million tonnes and that of virgin aluminum was up 32.5 percent to 13.74 million tonnes, according to figures released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
The output of lead climbed 8.8 percent to 3.35 million tonnes and that of zinc rose 21 percent to 4.26 million tonnes.
