Yan'an Refinery resumed operations of a 1.4-mil-mt/yr hydrocracker and a 1.2-mil-mt/yr reformer on Dec 13, two days ahead of plan, a refinery source said.
"With the two units on-stream, we will soon resume normal oil product output," said the source.
The two units were shut for maintenance on Dec 5, as a result of which Yan'an Refinery's output of gasoil and gasoline fell 25%, as reported earlier.
Yan'an Refinery is affiliated to Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum Group in Northwest China's Shaanxi Province, with annual crude processing capacity hitting 8-mil mt.
