Sinopec Changling Petrochemical is slated to process 460,000mt of crude in January, flat with the previous month, according to a refinery source.
The refinery was now only operating a newly-built 8-mil-mt/yr crude distillate unit while idling a 3.5-mil-mt/yr aged one, the source said, adding it has no turnaround plan in 2011.
Changling Petrochemical, located in Yueyang City of Central China's Hunan Province, has a topping capacity of 11.5-mil mt per year. It mainly consumes Shengli crude.
