Chairman of the CPPCC Changsha Committee Urges Scientific Duty Performing

Chairman of the CPPCC Changsha Municipal Committee Xie Shulin presided over a symposium where members of the CPPCC Changsha Municipal Committee proposed suggestions on the work of next year on Nov.23. Xie requested to further promote the innovative development in the work of the CPPCC under new circumstances by performing duties in a scientific way.

At the symposium, members of the CPPCC provided constructive suggestions on how to improve their work under new circumstances and how to give full play to the CPPCC members and constituencies.

After listening to the members, Xie pointed out that the aims of the CPPCC's work under new circumstances are to ally efforts from all circles, serve the overall development of the society, and put people in the first place and care about people's wellbeing.

Xie urged that efforts should be made to perform duties in a scientific way, giving prominence to the dinstinctive features and dominant role of constituencies, and establishing and perfecting systems and mechanisms. He also hoped the CPPCC will strive to improve its construction.
