The Fourth Session of the Thirteenth Changsha Municipal People's Congress was held on January 13, 2011 to discuss the examination of the Work Report of Changsha Municipal People s Government and the Outline of the Twelfth Five-Year Plan for Changsha National Economy and Social Development (Draft). Deputies were invited to offer suggestions for Changsha s development during the period of the Twelfth Five-Year Plan (2011-2015).
Municipal leaders met with those deputies on the evening of January 12. Changsha Mayor Zhang Jianfei shook hands with them and extended greetings to them. He invited them to give suggestions and do their best to make the city more prosperous.
Deeply impressed with the cordial visit, the deputies applauded and vowed that they will exercise democratic rights on behalf of the people and express people s opinions so as to serve them.
