Zhang Zongxiang Requires to Make Great Efforts in Brand Development and to Strengthen Brand Scale

On March 30, the fourth meeting of Jinan Appraisal Committee for Brand Products was held in Jinan. The rigorous review by Jinan Appraisal Committee identified 71 brand products and 46 service brands in Jinan. Zhang Zongxiang, vice mayor of Jinan City made four requirements on further development of brand products: firstly, the restructuring for brands cultivation should be grasped well, by grasping well brands cultivation in key industries, enterprises and products, and reserving enterprise team for brand cultivation in accordance with the principle of classified guide and highlighting key points so as to expand brands scale. Secondly, efforts should be intensified to cultivate regional brands. By integrating the development planning of industrial cluster in the city, relying on industrial cluster and basing on the construction of the manufacturing base of high-quality products, Jinan will strengthen efforts of regional brands cultivation. Thirdly, full play should be given to the leading effects of brand strategy. Driving the industry progress by brand construction, Jinan will form a brand effect by making use of capital, technology and market held by brand enterprises.
