The housing resettlement project of Liangzhuang area has been officially launched. Vice Mayor Wang Liang and Shizhong District Secretary Lei Jie attended the foundation laying ceremony. Liangzhuang area covers 90 acres, and the total demolition area is 80 million square meters, in which 45 million yuan is invested.
And the total construction area is 171.4 thousand square meters, including 14 public buildings which can resettle more than 5300 residents. According to the plan, this area is mainly to be used to resettle the residents from Liangzhuang, Pulimen, and Eastern Zhongshan Park. It will play an important role in improving the living environment of the old city and promoting the city's image.
