The first farmer sports meeting of Fenyi County kicked off on November 28. Li Anze, Secretary of Xinyu Committee of CPC declared the opening of the sports meeting. Mayor Wei Xuanjun, and Liu Ying, Director of Jiang Xi Provincial Sports Bureau attended the opening ceremony and addressed the speech.
Wei Xuanjun pointed that Xinyu has persist in giving fundamental consideration to the people s interests , and put the fundamental aim of promoting physical culture to build up people s health into practice, and develop sports facilities and sports organizations so that sports activities will involve all families and benefit all citizens. She added that the process of hosting the first farmer Sports Games will become a process of improving the quality of the citizens life, and sports will become the motive force for social progress.
During the opening ceremony, Guan Mucun, the famous singer together with other actors, made a wonderful performance to the audience.
