January 6, CRIENGLISH.com - As the Year of the Rabbit approaches on the Chinese lunar calendar, various rabbit-themed products have become quite popular in Nanchang, capital of east China's Jiangxi Province.

Although the current Year of the Tiger does not end until February 3, rabbit-shaped toys and gifts already have filled store shelves throughout the city, Jxnews.com.cn reports.

In one gift shop, many young people have purchased rabbit-themed decorations and toys. The owner of the store said rabbit-shaped toys have been quite popular and affordable prior to next month's Chinese New Year, according to the report.
