The 2010 Hot Springs Tourism Festival is Sichuan s second largest tourism event, started Dec. 9th. There are 8 competing hot springs travel itineraries this winter. In order to promote the hot springs industry, the Hot Springs Organization of Sichuan decided to release 10,000 coupons for tourists from Dec. 1st, 2010 to Feb 28th, 2011. Tourists can use these coupons at any of the hot springs resorts in any of the 8 hot springs travel itineraries, including the Buddhism Land and Fairytale Mountains Hot Spring and Countryside Hot Spring. It is estimated that approximately 50,000 tourists will visit the hot springs resorts during the next 3 months.
