On Oct. 16th, 2010 the 7th International Tourism and Culture Promotion Conference was heldat theJinjiang Hotel in Chengdu, Sichuan. It was organized by the Sichuan Tourism Administration and the Sichuan Provincial People Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. The focus of the conference was to promote the development of Sichuan tourism and enhance cooperation between Sichuan and the World.
The conference is also one component of the 11thWestern China International Fair. Foreign ambassadors, government officials, tourism agentsand journalists were all in attendance at the conference.
