Mr. Chai, a 64 year old from Liaoning Province, told reporters The sunshine in Panzhihua is really good, especially for senior citizens. This is the 4th time for our family to come to Panzhihua for winter and this is our first time attending the Happy Sunshine Festival. There are lots of interesting events and we plan to stay here longer this time .
Sunshine, Sports, Leisure and Health are the four main themes of this year s festival and is largely welcomed by the citizens as well as the tourists. Events such as the Stone Culture and Arts in Juque, Shopping and Cuisine along the Jinsha River banks, Mountain Hiking Competition, and Buddhism events will be held during the festival.
