Export-Oriented Economy Shows Recovery

The government hold a special conference to analyze the operation of the municipal exported-oriented economy of the third quarter on October 19.

During the first three quarters in the year, the decreasing amplitude of the municipal import and export amounted to 15.92%, which is 0.8% lower than the average decreasing amplitude of the province, and at the same time, the increasing amplitude ranked the forth of the 11 municipalities in the province.

With the recovery and warming of the domestic and abroad economy, the decreasing amplitude became lower in the third quarter in Quzhou, containing the dropping trend. The import and export mainstay increased month by month, showing a strong rebounding momentum in exporting to some countries. It showed a bright spot in taking advantages of foreign investment by ranked the second at the number of new approved programmes which took advantages of foreign investment, contract foreign investment, and effected foreign investment.

Zhuge Huiyan, the deputy mayor, was present at the conference and gave a speech. She required the related department to be aware of the difficulties and problems in present operation of exported-oriented economy, and meanwhile, to try their best to fulfill the work before the end of the year.
