Quzhou Participates in Building the Tourist Zone on the West Coast of theTaiwan Straits

Quzhzou was reported to have reached an agreement with the other 19 cities as Fuzhou, Wenzhou, Shantou and Yingtan to strengthen cooperation in developing the regional tourist according to the strategic plan of Several Opinions of the State Council on Supporting Fujian Province to Accelerate the Building of the Economic Zone on the West Coast of the Taiwan Straits , aiming to build the tourist zone on the west coast of the Taiwan Straits.
The 20 cities made appointments on cooperation in tourist publicity and sales promotion to build trans-provincial premium tourist lines and products, organizing jiont tourist exhibitions, publicity and sales promotion, holding non-periodical recommending meetings with annual topics and straits tourists as backdrop. The cities also agreed on sending source of tourists and open markets to each other; setting up the west coast information net to realize express flow of tourist information and production jiont, and developing it into a high-end tourist information communiction platform with integrated service funciton as regional image publicity, information consultation, policy releasing, and tourist reservation agency. They were to set up an integrated service programme major in introducing the straits tourist brands by taking advantage of the media source. Their TV stations were to cooperate with TVBS to present their tourist scenery, local conditions and customs, history and culture.
