Quzhou: International Logistics Center is opened to Traffic

Quzhou International Logistics Center, i. e, no-water port, a key project of coast-mountains cooperation between Quzhou and Ningbo, hold the ceremony for its opening to traffic on Sep. 4th. Mao Linsheng, deputy governor of Zhejiang province, was present at the ceremony, and declared the openging of Quzhou International Logistics Center.
Quzhou International Logistics Center is managed by Quzhou Tonggang International Logistics Co. Ltd. which is cooperatively set up by Quzhou Vehicle Trasportation Co. Ltd. and NingboGang Co. Ltd. With the total investment of 1.2 billion RMB, the port introduced port logistics management technology and source, aiming at realizing an internationalized and standardized management and service at the sacale of 50000 containers workload, 3000 containers customs clearance load, handling up 3 million tons of cargo for regular goods each year with the volume of business of 8 billion RMB.
So far, the project has requisitioned the piece of land of 133333 , with 36000 been used for construction, on which 6710 has been constructed. From then on, the port will become to be an inland port and bonded logistics base with perfect function, superior eqquipments and quality service in western Zhejiang and the neighbourhood by providing a public logistics platform for cargoes impoted and exported in Quzhou or the neighbourhood with its various transportation modes of by railway, by highway, or by both.
Shangqing, the mayor, said, the openging of Quzhou International Logistics Cente realized the Quzhou citizens dream of building port, and marked a new step of Quzhou logistics. He also said, Quzhou dry port is an outstanding example of the cooperation of Quzhou and Ningbo, which serves as a glorious title to strengthen investment for development in leaps in economy, therefore, to speed up the construction of western Zhejiang, and contribute to the balanced and rapid development of economy in Zhejiang province.
