Application For Exit Permit Can Be Processed In The Neighbourhood In Quzhou

Quzhou citizens were no more restricted to their census jurisdiction area, but can turn to the entry and exit service window of the public security bureau in the neighbourhood as well when they were to process the exit permit, which is a practical thing that Quzhou security bureau did for the people, reported on the press conference of Quzhou public security bureau on Oct. 1st.
The population of going abroad increased at the speed of 25% per year in Quzhou. During the past 3 years, the entry and exit service window of the public security has received more than 90000 person-times, and has given examination and approval for over 50000 applications. In the year of 2008, the total population of going abroad in Quzhou municipality went to over 176000 person-times.
According to the related regulationg of the public security department, the application for exit permit should be done at the applicants census jurisdiction area, which resulted in inconvenience for the citizens working or studying in a strange land. Therefore, Quzhou public security bureau brought forth a new measure of accepting exit permit application in the neighbourhood, and reported it to the public security department for approval.
So long as the measure is carried on, any citizen can directly turn to the county or municipality entry and exit service window in the neighbourhood to apply for issuing, changing, or reissuing the passport, for permit of entry and exit to Hongkong or Macao for visiting relatives, business, team travelling etc., or applying for entry and exit permit and comments for attention on the certificate to Taiwan both for private visiting relatives and friends, travelling, accepting and processing property, deeling with marriage or funeral etc., or for economy and trade commuincation activities.
