The Zhejiang Brand (Indonesia) Center opened in Jakarta, capital of Indonesia on November 9. The China Zhejiang-Indonesia Banten Conference on Economy and Trade was held in Banten Province, Indonesia. Lu Zushan, deputy secretary of CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee and Governor of Zhejiang, was present and delivered a speech.
Mr. Lu said at the opening ceremony that the Zhejiang Brand (Indonesia) Center, the first trade and investment service platform that mainland China has built up in Indonesia, serves as a bridge for Zhejiang enterprises to go global. Its functions will include introducing high quality Zhejiang products to Indonesia, as well as introducing more and better Indonesian products to Zhejiang. It should work as a service platform not only for trade, but also for Zhejiang enterprises to invest in Indonesia.
After the ceremony, a batch of agreements were signed, including a strategic cooperation agreement between Zhejiang Brand (Indonesia) Center and the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Indonesia), a trade cooperation memorandum between Zhejiang province, China and Jakarta province, Indonesia, and a coal purchase agreement between Zhejiang Materials Industry Group and Tanito Coal Group, Indonesia.
