Vice Governor Wang Jianman met with Asao Toshio, vice magistrate of Tochigi Prefecture, Japan, and his group in Hangzhou on November 7.
Governor Wang extended his warm welcome to the guests and briefed them on the economic and social development of Zhejiang Province. He said that since the establishment of friendly relations between Zhejiang and Tochigi in 1993, there have been frequent high-level exchanges and productive cooperation in areas like economy, culture, education and agriculture. He believed that this visit would further the cooperation in agriculture, tourism and other areas and strengthen the friendship between the two peoples.
