The leading group meeting (enlarged meeting) of Zhejiang Province s Special Campaign to Combat Intellectual Property Infringement and Fake Commodities was held in Hangzhou yesterday.
According to the disposition of the provincial government, a six-month special campaign against intellectual property infringement and fake commodities will be launched from October 2010 to March 2011. At the meeting, it was pointed out that work in key spots should be combined with that in entire areas, that work should be carried out extensively, and that key contents, domains, areas and commodities should be stressed. During the campaign, emphasis should be placed upon both combat and prevention, and a highhanded policy should be consistently carried out against intellectual property infringement and fake commodities, so as to inhibit the large-scale intellectual property violation from the root. Meanwhile, the whole society should be working together to raise enterprises awareness of being honest and law-abiding, and enhance consumers ability to recognize fake commodities, thus forming an atmosphere of protecting intellectual property and boycotting fake commodities, and boosting the overall level of protecting intellectual property and standardizing market order in various departments and areas in Zhejiang Province.
