Recently, Hangzhou Library signed a cooperation agreement with the Library of University College Cork of Ireland, whereby both parties agree to conduct exchanges of books and journals, and engage in personnel and other culture-exchange activities. It is expected that from 2011 on, the two sides will initiate the librarian exchange program, and hence readers in Hangzhou Library can enjoy the services from foreign librarians. All these will promote more frequent city interchanges.
