The awarding meeting of the first Provincial Government Quality Award was held in Hangzhou on Nov. 18. Lu Zushan, deputy secretary of CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee and Governor of Zhejiang Province, and Zhi Shuping, minister of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ), were present at the meeting and gave speeches.
A total of five enterprises won the first Provincial Government Quality Award, including Wanxiang Qianchao, Zhongtian Construction Group, Chint Electrics, Youngor and Kangnai Group, and each received an award of 1 million Yuan. The Provincial Government Quality Award is given annually and is Zhejiang s highest honor in the field of quality.
