Lu Zushan, deputy secretary of CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee and Governor of Zhejiang Province, met with Taiwan financial delegation on the afternoon of Nov. 14 in Hangzhou.
Mr. Lu said that during its June visit to Taiwan, with the purpose of paying visits to relatives and friends and promoting exchange and cooperation, Zhejiang provincial government s delegation put financial cooperation between the two parties in a prominent position and achieved positive results. The Second Zhejiang-Taiwan Exchange and Cooperation Forum on Finance would continue and further cooperation between Zhejiang and Taiwan. Moreover, the signature of the Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement (ECFA) has created favorable conditions for our cooperation. Next, on the basis of the mutually beneficial and win-win principle, Zhejiang would expect a wider, deeper and more substantive cooperation with Taiwan financial sector.
