On November 29, Vice Secretary of CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee and Governor Lv Zushan met the Kaohsiung Agricultural Delegation invited to attend the 2010 Zhejiang Agricultural Expo.
Lv Zushan extended welcome to the guests. He said that he was deeply impressed by the quality agriculture in Kaohsiung and other regions in Taiwan when he was visiting Taiwan as head of the Zhejiang Government Delegation in June this year. During the visit, the two sides reached a series of cooperation agreements, and five villages in Zhejiang were paired with five twin villages in Kaohsiung County for long-term exchange and cooperation.
Lv promised that Zhejiang would strive to promote the implementation of these agreements, and create more opportunities for agricultural products from Taiwan to enter into Zhejiang market by providing platforms such as agricultural expos and fine agricultural products marketing centers. He hopes that the exchange and cooperation between Zhejiang and Taiwan will be further enhanced on the basis of complementary advantages and for the mutual benefits of both sides.
