Zhejiang Telecom has just announced a slash in International roaming tariffs for China telecom mobile phones by around 50% on average, even reaching a ceiling of 81%.
This adjustment covers 17 CDMA roaming countries and regions and nearly 258 GSM roaming countries and regions. After the adjustment, the calls and text messages to the Chinese mainland from Hong Kong will cost 1.99 yuan per minute and 0.39 yuan per piece respectively and from Taiwan they will cost 0.99 yuan per minute and 0.29 yuan per piece respectively. Roaming tariffs for countries like United States, Japan, Singapore, Germany and France will be cut by around 70 %.
