The National University Science (Creative) Park of China Academy of Art commissioned by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Science and Technology was founded on the morning of Dec. 5, marking the completion of the first university science park with features of art and creativity of the national level in Hangzhou.
The National University Science (Creative) Park of China Academy of Art is located in Hangzhou Zhijiang National Tourist and Holiday Resort (ZNTHR), next to the central Xiangshan Campus of China Academy of Art, with a general planning area of 2351 mu, including the key demonstration zone, industry development zone and supporting zone.
Nowadays, the Park adheres to the operation mechanism of the integration of three forces , namely the guidance of the resort and the university, the operation of enterprises, and the market allocation through the cooperation between China Academy of Art and Zhijiang National Tourist and Holiday Resort to realize the hatching of the creative industry, transformation of creative products and the cultivation and gathering of creative talents, to boost the joint development of industry belt around China Academy of Art, to promote the transformation and creation of regional economic growth, and to explore the practice mode of new urban and rural development.
