On Dec. 20, Andrea, Dean of Ukraine Langley Wharf National Institute of Arts came to Hangzhou for the tablet-unveiling ceremony of Baohualou Chinese Painting Academy. After the plaque-presenting ceremony, the exhibition of He Shuifa s Chinese paintings opened.
He Shuifa, a famous flower-and-bird painter of traditional Chinese painting, participated in the design of Baohualou. Benefited from his guidance, which was in line with the concept of Chinese painting, Baohualou Chinese Painting Academy has been built with rich Chinese national characteristics. Langley Wharf National Institute of Arts Chinese Cultural Exchange Center will be established here. This is an institute famous in Europe, having produced many masters of oil painting. The institute awarded He Shuifa an honorary doctorate in May.
