2011 New Year s Concert for foreign experts and international friends in Zhejiang was held at Zhejiang Provincial Concert Hall on the evening of 30, December. Chen Jiayuan, vice governor, delivered a speech, and he also met with representatives of foreign experts before the concert. More than 400 foreign experts and international friends working or studying in Zhejiang watched the performance.
The provincial official also pointed out that the social and economic development in Zhejiang also relies on the hard work of foreign experts and international friends in Zhejiang. Our province is in a critical moment of development, the new round of leap forward requires the wisdom from more foreign talents.
It is hoped that all foreign experts and international friends will be involved in the construction of modern Zhejiang by various means and will contribute more of their wisdom and strength.
