By the end of 2010, our province gave birth to the first district (city, county) with state tax revenue higher than 10 billion. The latest news from the state tax bureau indicated that by 16, December, the state tax revenue in Xiaoshan had reached 10.018 billion.
Emerging industries are developing very fast, and have become the new power in increasing the state tax revenue in Xiaoshan. From January to November, the state tax revenues (excluding tax exempted, tax offset, tax returned) from the nine major industries being nurtured such as new energy industry, equipment manufacturing industry, electronic information industry have all increased compared with the same period last year.
For example, the automobile manufacturing industry, Wangxiang Group s new energy car as its representative, is a dark horse: Young Lotus and Dongfeng-Yulon have been off the assembly line; Geely Automobile Global Research Center and GAC Gonow Automobile Industry Joint Venture have settled in Xiaoshan; the projects of Yuexi New Energy Passenger Car and Zhejiang Nanche Rail Cars have also been introduced into Xiaoshan.
