On December 27, the construction of the first Internet of Things Industrial Park was officially launched in Hangzhou Hi-tech Industry Development Zone (Binjiang).
The Internet of Things Industrial Park is planned to cover an overall area of 1.52 square kilometers. The Internet of Things Industry is becoming a new economic booster and growth point of Hangzhou Hi-tech Industry Development Zone (Binjiang), even that of Hangzhou economy. At present, the Industrial Park has more than 100 enterprises engaged in the research of key technologies in the Internet of Things and in the development of industrialized application. The gross income of the Industrial Park exceeds 15 billion Yuan. The Park has gained certain leading advantages in differentiated areas.
In the future, the Industrial Park will take the initiative in inviting the investment in scientific and technological research and development of the Internet of Things, and the Internet information service and system integration; and in attracting the manufacturing projects of advanced sensors and core elements to settle in the Park. Moreover, the Park will endeavor to become the Chinese Internet of Things Industrial Demonstration Area, the important center of the Internet of Things Industry in Yangtze Delta Region and the core area of Zhejiang Internet of Things Industry.
