On the evening of December 23, China online music awarding ceremony was held in the studio of Taizhou Radio & Television General Station, marking the conclusion of the 5th Chinese Online Music Festival, which was scheduled to last 3 months.
Co-hosted by Taizhou municipal government, China Association of Popular Music and Internet Society of China, this online music festival was formally started on September 27 in Beijing. After a series of selections in 13 zones such as Chongqing and Guangzhou, the final was held in Taizhou.
This festival also witnessed the establishment of China Online Music Federation -- the first multiregional, multimedia professional federation devoted to the promotion of healthy development of Internet music. Altogether 24 media joined the federation.
