The third joint conference on the Yangtze River Delta customs cooperation was held in Jiashan on December 22. Yang Xiong, member of the standing committee of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and Executive Vice-Mayor of Shanghai, Zhang Weiguo, Vice-governor of Jiangsu Province, and Gong Zheng, Vice-governor of Zhejiang Province, were present at the conference and signed the Memorandum on the Construction of the Yangtze River Delta Maritime Customs Cooperation and the Memorandum on the Close Cooperative Mechanism in Customs and Trade .
The Yangtze River Delta customs cooperation began in 2007. It was learned that Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang will continue promoting the interaction and cooperation among ports and port units, facilitating customs transit cooperation, enhancing and expanding the cooperation between ports and cities, and accelerating the customs integration in the Yangtze River Delta region.
