Organisation for Economic Co-operation and DevelopmentIn has recently conducted the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) to middle school students aged 15 globally in which Zhejiang middle school students take the lead worldwide and rank the top in China s pilot areas.
PISA is one of the most influential programs to assess international students learning performance in the whole world, aiming to measure teenagers knowledge and ability to cope with the society at the end of their compulsory education. Since students in most countries complete their compulsory study around age 15, the assessment draws samples from this population for close investigation. At present, a total of 67 countries and districts get involved in PISA.
