According to reports, the province will spend 4 years building more than 30,000 post offices at village levels, renovating more than 1 million residence mailboxes, employing more than 30,000 village postmen, thus to complete a postal service system for moderate and sustainable development, covering urban and rural areas and benefiting all civilians.
The construction of village post offices and mailboxes is one of the 14 provincial government projects to carry out "Action Plans for the Equalization of Basic Public Services". The village post offices will all be built according to a same standard, providing services such as mail collection and delivery, distribution of agricultural products and consumer goods, collection and payment, agriculture technology services, financial services, and cultural media services.
The village post offices will become the "convenient service centers" deeply rooted in the province's administrative villages. Meanwhile, these postal channels are to provide farmers and rural enterprises with great convenience of sending all kinds of famous local products from rural areas to cities.
