On December 30, 2010, Jin Ou Project Donation Ceremony was held in Wenzhou Vocational and Technical College. At the site, 66 women entrepreneurs from Lucheng District paired up with the students and donated 132 thousand yuan to aid 132 college girl students.
Jin Ou Project is a financial aid project organized by Women s Federation and Women Enterprise Directors Association of Lucheng District to solve the problems of the poor students in their study and life. Ever since the aiding activities in 2002, 625 students have gained financial aid and the amount of donation has added up to more than 0.6 million yuan. Some of the women entrepreneurs who donated money also provided some college poor girl students with job opportunities and provided those poor students with opportunities of earning tuitions by taking part-time jobs.
