On Jan. 13, Blue Book of Zhejiang Province: Social Development (2011) was released as the achievement of the major research project on Zhejiang conditions by Provincial Academy of Social Sciences. The blue book thoroughly analyzes Zhejiang s social development in 2010 and during the Eleventh-Five-Year Plan period, and makes an objective prediction about the social conditions in 2011 and during the twelfth-Five-Year Plan period. It is proposed that we should give more efforts in guaranteeing and improving people s livelihood, and we also should concentrate on promoting social upgrade and transformation, optimizing social reform, deepening social development, and strengthening social integration so as to further enhance the social development.
