Zhejiang Farmers Per Capita Income Ranked First for 26 Consecutive Years

According to the statistics released by the Survey Office of the National Bureau of Statistics in Zhejiang, the per capita net income of rural residents in Zhejiang reached 11,303 yuan in 2010, indicating an increase of 1,295 yuan, up 12.9% from 2009. The actual growth is 8.6% after deducting price factors. Thus, for 26 consecutive years, the per capita income of farmers in Zhejiang has been ranking first among all the provinces and autonomous regions in China.

The conclusion was drawn from 4,700 sample surveys of rural households in 47 cities and counties (including cities at the county level and districts) by the Survey Office.
