Zhejiang Chinese Medical University and Shaoxing Municipal Public Health Bureau have had Xu Rongzhai Medical Series published to commemorate the 100 anniversary of the birth of Xu Rongzhai.
Xu Rongzhai (1911-1982), a local in Shaoxing, was one of the first senior title receivers in the Education of Traditional Chinese Medicine in New China. One of the first Master Student Supervisors in the former Zhejiang Chinese Medical College, Xu Rongzhai conducted very intensive study on the classic works of Traditional Chinese Medicine, especially Inner Classic (Neijing).
