The Yaoju opera Wang Yangming by Yuyao Arts Troupe made its debut at Taipei Municipal Social Education Hall on Feb. 15th, marking the start of the 5th Taiwan-Zhejiang Culture Festival.
The first performing group -- Wang Yangming troupe -- has caught widespread attention in Taiwan: reporters from 31 news and mass media were present at the press conference on the 14th. The performing hall was fully packed by enthusiastic audience on Tuesday, with everyone deeply moved by the performance.
Co-hosted by Zhejiang Culture and Arts Exchange Promotion Society and Taiwan Culture and Arts Development Promotion Society, the Taiwan-Zhejiang Culture Festival has now become a feast of cross-strait cultural exchange.
