It was learnt yesterday from Zhejiang Electrical Power Corporation that during the Twelfth Five-year Plan Period, Zhejiang Province will put greater effort in developing its power grid and speeding up the construction of power receiving channels. Specifically, 28.3 billion Yuan will be invested in building ultra-high pressure power grids, thus increasing the power purchasing capacity by 25 million kilowatts. It will be greater than the total installed capacity of the Three Gorges Project, and will be guaranteed to provide steady and reliable power supply for social and economic development.
