Carrying the expectations and wishes of the people in Zhejiang, the deputies to the National People s Congress from Zhejiang Province arrived in Beijing this afternoon. They will attend the Fourth Session of the 11th National Congress, which will attract the worldwide attention. Provincial leaders, Xia Baolong, Xu Hongjun and Chen Jiayuan, saw the deputies off at the airport when they left for Beijing.
In order to be better prepared for this session of the National People s Congress, deputies in Zhejiang conducted thorough investigations across the province as well as in their own areas and workplaces. They listened to the common people s voices and appeals and prepared elaborate motions and proposals for submission on such topics as the strengthening and innovation of social management, the construction of harmonious labor relations, the acceleration of the economic development mode transformation, the development of modern industrial system, and the further improving and safeguarding of the well-being of the people. They said that they understand their glorious mission and the great responsibilities as deputies to the National People s Congress. They promised to fulfill their duties conscientiously, offer advice and suggestions and live up to the great trust and expectations of the Zhejiang people.
