The seventh batch of 331 cadres from our province went to aid Xinjiang on February 24. On February 23, CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee and the People s Government of Zhejiang Province hosted a grand farewell party. Mr. Chen Min er, member of the standing committee of CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee and executive vice governor, and Mr. Cai Qi, member of the standing committee of CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee and head of the Organization Department of CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee, attended the meeting and addressed to the audience.
Since our province commenced our work in aiding Xinjiang in 1997, six batches of 335 cadres have been commissioned to work in Xinjiang for more than a decade. They took their initiative to offer advice and act as a go-between, thus winning trust and respect from people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang and creating a positive image of Zhejiang cadres working in Xinjiang.
